Terms of Service
Effective August 2026. By using OmniShield you agree to these terms.
The service
OmniShield provides software that attempts to detect and mask sensitive data before it is sent to supported AI chat websites. Protection is best-effort: it may not catch every secret or every site behavior, and it is not a substitute for your organization's security policies.
Plans and licenses
Free, Pro, and Enterprise features are described on our pricing page. Pro is licensed for personal use under the key issued at purchase unless otherwise agreed. Enterprise use requires a separate agreement.
Payments and refunds
Paid plans are processed by our payment partner. Taxes and invoicing may be handled by that partner as Merchant of Record. Refund requests for Pro should be made within 14 days of purchase if the product is defective or not substantially as described; otherwise their digital goods policy applies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including redistributing modified builds as official OmniShield, abusing license keys, attacking our infrastructure, or using the product to violate applicable law.
Intellectual property
OmniShield branding, site content, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Disclaimer and limitation
The software and site are provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for Pro in the three months before the claim (or zero for Free use).
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
